Dog Clothes For Your Canine Friend
Winters are testing times not only for you but also your pet canine. The weather outside is bitterly cold and it certainly makes sense to cover your dogs with clothes that would keep them warm. Doesn't matter what people say, your dog (especially if it's a small breed) needs clothes that would protect them from the harsh weather.
For dog lovers there isn't anything cute than watching your favorite canine friend strutting along in dog clothing. Contrary to popular belief some dogs are indeed excited to dress up. It's a known fact that dogs crave for attention. A dog that's dressed in cute yet comfortable clothes is sure to attract attention from curious onlookers. Getting ready for a Halloween or Christmas party? Why not team up with your canine friend and get a dress that matches your theme? You could choose from T-shirts, dog sweaters and even tuxedos. But before you decide to dress up little Tinkerbell, remember, that unlike humans, dogs aren't naturally inclined to wear clothes. Get a dress that makes him comfortable and isn't demeaning to him.
A number of people think buying dog clothes involves getting the best designer clothes and the dog is sure to be happy about it. Truth be told- your dog isn't bothered, if you've got a $100 designer sweater or made a dress that's made from your worn out sweater. All that it's bothered about is comfort and acceptability among its peers.
The first thing to consider before buying dog clothes is size. Remember to check for your dog's size before you buy clothes for your dog. A dog sweater too small or too large is sure to cause discomfort. If possible you could try the dress before buying.
The second most important aspect to be considered is comfort. Buy clothes that go along with the character of the breed. Fancy dresses with buttons and hooks can be potentially dangerous and may carry choking hazards. Also make sure that the clothes aren't made from toxic materials. Polyester is generally considered a safe option. The clothes that you buy should not make them look funny.
Needless to say, dog clothes are sure to get dirty. Barney isn't bothered about the cost of the dress, if he feels like rolling on the ground, he is sure to do so! Make sure to buy clothes that are easy to wash.

Do you think its okay to dress dogs up?
I may be getting a maltese around christmas. Where I live, it is usually pretty cold in the winter and warm in the summer. If I get a maltese, I will probably keep his/her hair cut short because it is a bit easier to groom than longer hair. Do you think it is acceptable to dress the dog up in sweaters or jackets? Some people think its poor dog owning if you do this but if the dog has short hair and you want to keep the pup warm do you think its acceptable?

My friend blamed me, saying i stole the dog?? Now I have to do Community Service?? I didn't do anything?
Alright two weeks ago, me and two of my friends...we just hanging out, acting stupid, we went into a pet shop. They dogs were like in a box thingy were you can look in it, one my friends, not even my friend anymore. Went picked up a puppy placed it in her purse and walked out, WE HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS GOING TO DO THAT!!! SHE IS CRAZY!! When we walked out we just thought it was funny, went to petsmart, bought the dog clothes. We took him home, and bonded..We didnt know they got us on tape, and the puppy had a micro chip in it. They came to are school, the bitch told them that we knew that she was going to steal the dog...and we were all in it, I have stolen things in that past(cloths, earings...ect) so they did not believe me, they said they would let us off easy, and said I would just have to work in the dog shop, when i did not even do anything wrong. After she did that, I told them all her secrets...she got expelled...but there still making me go to this thing, I didnt even steal the dog. Sh They took Buttercup, but nobody believes me..know this will be on my record for ever..also its going to be akward i walk in the store, thell be like o look theres the girl who stole the dog??:P:P

I have dog clothes sizes I need answered!!!?
Okay so I have a chieweenie it is a chiuaua weener dog mix it has a med neck and med back and when I buy him a sweater for the cold season it dosent fit right small is too small dosent fit his back right and a medium is too big so he is in-between a small an med but his back never seems to fit in any sweater I am super confused and don't know how to find the perfect size can u help??
